Recent Legislative Milestones
Bill HB 3708 Support
Organized testimony and community support for HB 3708. This bill would've removed medical debt from credit scores and forced hospitals to screen patients for charity care at the same time they'd screen them for insurance. Thanks to the efforts of Dollar For, RAISE Texas, and LCMD, the bill passed onto calendars with bipartisan support.
